"We stayed in this house during the winter and it was spectacular! We were able to ice skate on the frozen lake and drink hot chocolate by the fire place. "I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. "We had a great time staying at this location. It is very peaceful and there are not many other houses on the lake. Great fishing as well! The only recommendation I would have is to place a humidifier in the basement as it is a little sticky down there. Otherwise great place to stay "

"Had a great time at this property. We had a very seamless check in. Owners are very thoughtful, having everything in the house that you could need while there. They were very quick to respond to texts while there when we tripped a circuit breaker. Property is not too far from Escanaba for picking up necessities. Many cities within an hour drive to do some sightseeing and activities. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in that area in the future. "

"In a nicely secluded neighborhood on the Lake. Very Clean, big deck on the house, updated interior. The lake view is the best. Right on the lake with big windows to see everything. Wonderful to wake up to. Heat was perfect for our stay in November. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Gwinn. "

"We were bird hunting in the UP with my dog. Hosts were very nice, friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. On first impression it's a bit more civilized than our typical hunting camp. Overall, very nice, comfortable beds and furniture, we slept well after a hard day in the woods. We didn't spend any real daylight time there checking out the lake or anything. Overall, great stay. There's always a few quirks but for us it was great! Thanks"

"This was a nice cabin. There are five cabins on the owners' property. The owners had good communication but were otherwise unobtrusive. The main hot tub is shared with cabins 1-4, but cabin 5 has its own private one. Most importantly I took my rescue pitbull and had no issues with the owners or other guests. Some properties have a lot of dog rules so I was pleased to see this property was more lenient."
