"Quiet neighborhood. Loved the fresh mountain air. Family loved playing pool the entire time. Beautiful views from living room/kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. We were able to drive about 40 minutes to the snow one day and 20 minutes to get to Big Trees State Park another day. A prior poster mentioned inventorying the kitchen before shopping for meals, which I agree with. (Example - bring a can opener.) A few issues were raised and promptly addressed by Uday. Thank you for a lovely weekend!"

"Property was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable.TV not easy to use. Had a great time. Biggest problem was it took 3 hours to get in because of bad codes for door entrance. Then bad lock box code. Finally when someone showed up they opened lock with a another code which they didn't give us!"

"The 5 kids had a great time in the snow. So many sledding areas on and near the property. The open living space accommodated our 11 family members comfortably. And the cabin was will supplied. Great family weekend.The unavailability to the cabin by 4 wheel vehicles should be at the top of the site since Bear Valley Village is the only snowbound community in California. A flat griddle would have been nice for pancakes."

"As for our last-minute decision to go skiing/boarding, this cozy condo was the perfect place, being right in the village, with access to the shuttle and on the mountain in minutes. Communication with the host was amazing! This condo works great for a group of 4! Thank you, DeAnne, for your amazing flexibility to work things out with us on this short notice!!"

"This was our fifth visit to Murphy’s Cottage, and our kids have lovingly nicknamed it "the winter home" since we make annual trips. The cabin is always clean and well-kept, and its location is perfect—close to the main road and nearby stores. It’s equipped with central heating and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, which we love to relax by after a day in the snow at Bear Valley. Plus, it’s just a 35-minute drive to the slopes, making it a convenient and comfortable retreat."
