"I might have misread the blurb, was expecting a kitchenette and a full size fridge so was surprised to find just a kettle and mini fridge. My room was one of the tiny ones which was expected, room was clean as was shower & toilet. Bed was a single but comfy, slept like a baby although the 14 miles walked helped! Nice pub next door with quiz on Thursdays! Overall good value, and help only a phone call away. Good location on a quiet road midway between Windermere and Bowness"

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. We loved the decor and the apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Onsite parking was a big bonus. It was a short walk to Bowness pier with plenty of shops and places to eat on the way. Excellent communication with the host. We would certainly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning. "We had a get together with family who haven’t seen each other in several years. The house was perfect for us as it had plenty of space, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, making it a very comfortable stay even with a large group. The communication with the property manager was great! "Owners of Cottage provided a phone number to call one week before our arrival. Numerous attempts each day and "no one" answered the phone. And there wasn't any way to leave a message. On our way to the unit, we had an emergency, one member, in the emergency room for 3 hours. I tried getting hold of the unit, no response so I called VRBO. We had to cancelled because I could not speak with the owner about our situation and their accommodations. Request complete refund."
