"There was no one at the front desk even though we checked in at the prearranged time. The room itself was charming and furnished with antiques. The elevator did not work (apparently it has been inoperable for 2 months) and we had to schlep our suitcases up a long staircase. We weren't there to watch TV, but it's a good thing because the TV did not work. It was pricey for a property with the mentioned issues. "

"I love this place due to is historic ambiance. My room was clean and the bed comfortable, wi-fi was fast and easy to access. Show water pressure was not great but, not a huge issue for me. It was a classic sunken tile shower. The downside was the chair and table outside my room, there was an ashtray on the table full of butts & ashes. Also, a big spill stain of "something" just at the entrance of the door to my room, I tried not to look at it. Lastly, my neighbors had people knocking on their...

"Staff was very friendly, room was clean, hotel dining area was constantly being cleaned by staff. Overall great experience! "

"My king size room was very nice and spacious, with a jetted tub, shower, small refrig, comfortable bed and nice linens. Employees were all very friendly. The surrounding area is not great for walking or nearby amenities. There was no offer of help with luggage when I arrived; I had to ask for someone to carry my bag up the steep stairs to my room. The front desk seems never to answer the phone, nor do they respond to messages left. When I checked out I was unable to get help with my luggage...
