We spent our final four days at the beautiful Villa Santa Chiara, a short walk from the gates of downtown Siena, Italy. This wonderful villa could accommodate more people than our group of six, but it was an excellent choice for our three couples. "The villa is beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. There are horses and ponies on the grounds. The best part is the hostess and the host. They are so accomadating and kind. The pasta we dinner and pizza party were great! "

"Ein wunderbares Haus in sehr guter Lage. In unmittelbare Nähe zur Schnellstraße Siena-Arezzo. Die Ausstattung ist einwandfrei und das Raumgefühl luftig und einzigartig. Die Zufahrt ist für sehr große Autos schwierig, aber sehr gut möglich. Mit unserem VW Crafter hatten wir am zweiten Tag den Dreh raus und schafften die Einfahrt im Ort ohne Probleme. Benadetta hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und ist sehr hilfsbereit."

"Die Wohnung liegt ruhig im schönen Dorf Chiusdino, das Meer ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Pool eignet sich gut zum Baden. Es ist genug Platz für 4 Personen. Der Vermiter Paolo ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation war super. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!"

The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....

"The location of this home is perfect. Far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to go to the grocery store and into Montepulciano. Frank and Silva, the owners were a delight. They didn't speak much english, but we laughed every morning with them. Frank makes his own wine from the on property vineyard and Silva makes handbags and jams. Frank wine is as good as any other in Italy. And so much less money!!! Their home and grounds are beautiful. We were three couples and had plenty...
