"A quiet place "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing. This was our second trip to the yurt for our anniversary weekend and we couldn’t have loved it more. We had everything we needed and the yurt was very clean and accommodating. We cooked all our meals there and enjoyed a lovely hike on the property. We only left once to go into town for some pizza and wine. It’s was a bit chilly so the wood stove was just what we needed to warm us up. "Spent a week seeing the sites of the finger lakes area during the day and the evenings sitting around the fire pit enjoying the stary sky. The cabin was as described and overall quite enjoyable."

"The grounds were surrounded by native beautiful flowers and a flock of sheep resided there as well with 2 beautiful dedicated watchdogs. Peaceful and tranquil location made it feel like a real getaway with only a short drive away to the Watkins glen sites. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. "

"Perfect spot to hit all the things in and around the area. Close to everything yet completely private. Gorgeous view of the lake, well maintained and comfortable house for a good size group. Plenty of parking and you can walk to the distillery and a winery. Host is very responsive and helpful. Will be back!"

"Will be back, don't hesitate, just lovely. Can't beat Seneca and Cayuga waterfronts for your dollar, just the best, and this one's fantastic."

"The little cabin by the lake was just what we needed. It was very clean, and everything worked properly. We have family nearby, so the location was excellent. Don't miss the Smith Memorial Park, which has public access to the lake. We plan to return soon!"

"We were so happy to have found this place. Everything we needed was readily available. Hosts were very pleasant and more than accommodating. Entire place was beautiful and peaceful with a “Little House on the Prairie” feel. Complimentary, fresh, baked goods were available each morning. Decor was tasteful and thoughtful throughout Barn and The Coop. Will definitely be back! "

"We were unable to book a hotel to drop my child off for college and found Scotland Yard Farms. It was amazing and i am so glad nothing else was available. Scotland Yard Farms was fabulous and it is my new #1 choice for places to stay! An easy 10 min drive into Ithaca. Our glamping 'tent' was gorgeous and spacious. The pond, the Koi fish, the peacocks, the fields, the buildings .... all A+. Quiet nights, clean air, beautiful facilities, very nice owners - the best. Highly recommend!!"
