"As advertised ‘wee cottage’ and it is! Really nicely equipped and compact. Central to all amenities. Would book again."

"Three of us adults were comfortable, but cold. The heating cost of fuel and wood for stove was high and made our comfort stressful. Otherwise, moral was easily accessible, accommodating and pleasant. Thank you, Frederica"

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. "The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "

Parking the car can be a bit of a challenge for the driver who is used to a steeringwheel on the other side ;-) Perfectly situated to explore both Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the Highlands. Only after booking was made did we learn that the property was in fact some 5/6 miles outside of Callander, with no amenities nearby, except for a pub (next door) - The Byrne - which is advertised as having "great food and drink all...

"Cosy yet spacious and ideally located for walks. Good facilities and wi-fi. We only stayed for 2 nights, but plenty to do, so could easily stay for longer if we had the capacity to do so."

"We had a great time in Killin. This property was excellent and as portrayed . There is a powder room on the ground floor and a separate closet with a washer (dryer is hot water based in same unit). 2 racks for drying damp clothes. Both bedrooms are upstairs one en-suite with shower and the other one has both shower and bath tub.The only watch out was a 200 GBP deposit that was not in VRBO description.Though accepted and normal I took off a star for this."
