Brand new sleek & stylish studio in the core of Arcata, 3 blocks from Plaza. Simplicity at it's finest! This brand new contemporary studio was designed for guests craving a quality stay in Arcata with comfort & style in mind. Perfect for an easy, relaxing getaway furnished with a quality King bed, gas fireplace & fully stocked kitchen. Conveniently located just footsteps to downtown Arcata, and less than a five minute drive to Cal Poly Humboldt. Take an easy stroll to visit Saturday's farmer's market on the Plaza. Enjoy walking to the vibrant nightlife and sampling the delicious local brews, cider bar, wine tasting and one of a kind restaurants. Onsite parking is limited to 1 compact vehicle only.

Very clean and quiet. It was easy to walk to Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt. Plenty of shopping and dining with in easy walking distance and located in a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Arcata!

Wonderful experience and the studio was perfect for our stay in Arcata. It wa walkable to all the local favorites, and the room was verynice (new, beautifully appointed, safe, and quiet). The owner was very sweet and accommodating. We would most definately stay there again.

Great Location, Great Space
This is a very clean, well-appointed studio. It has a thermostatted fireplace that comes on automatically. I’ve never seen that before and I really enjoyed it. It is only a minute walk to a fabulous coffee/bagel place. And a few minutes walk to a good local grocery and restaurants. We used it as a base to explore Arcade, Eureka and the many nearby state parks. Perfect for that. The one thing I didn’t like is that after I reserved and paid (too late to have an option to cancel), I learned that I had to sign a separate rental agreement. I don’t like those things. It was 9 pages and I had to initial or sign 34 places - uggghh! (The content of the agreement was fine for me.). If you don’t mind these extra agreements, then this place is wonderful.

The property description is accurate
Location is terrific if your want to explore the city of Arcata. Everything in Arcata including Cal Poly Humboldt is walkable. Trinidad is a short drive as well as Su Meg State Park and Prairie Creek State Park. Amazing clam chowder and hiking. The Arcata Saturday Farmers market is also very cool. The cleanliness of the pictures is accurate.

Labor Day Weekend 2023
Our stay at the subject property was excellent! Close to our favorite places along the northern coast (Eureka ,State Parks, beaches and walking trails). In addition, we most enjoyed our first visit to downtown Arcata where our Sunday included shopping in the square, music, art and a movie. I will say the neighbor wasn’t so friendly. In addition, would recommend a interior floor mat for when it raining:). V/r Michael Lay

The one thing that is a problem in most cities is the rising homeless citizens issue. There were definitely many homeless around, so its sad to see this affects almost everywhere we go.

This studio is exactly what you see in the pictures. Storage was a bit of issue. My wife took the shelves, and I slid my opened suitcase under the bed to use as a big under-bed drawer. Closet is spacious, but only had four hangers. The location is the best thing about this property. A breakfast/brunch restaurant popular with locals is just around the corner. Other great restaurants are minutes away by foot. The only problem we had was a tree over the driveway that shed sticky sap and leaves. The leaves stuck to our shoes and had to be scraped off with a knife when we got home. Thankfully, we had a rent car and didn't have to clean the sap off the outside and the leaves off the carpet. We tried to sweep off the entry, but the leaves stuck to the ground -- until we walked on them. A previous reviewer said getting out of the driveway was a problem, but we found it easy to get in and out.

A HIDDEN GEM!
This property was absolutely perfect for our stay in Arcata…The location made it easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go…We were there for a week to watch our grandson play for the Humboldt Crabs Baseball Team!! This studio had everything we needed to make for a very comfortable stay…Kitchen/Bathroom/King bed/Flat screen tv etc all as described …And clean as can be!! Don’t miss this darling studio if you need a fantastic place to stay!!

I wanted a small private space to stay that was close to my daughter and Downtown Arcata and this place delivered. The little cottage was clean, nicely appointed, and a perfect size for me. My daughter was very impressed and wished she lived in a place like it. It's conveniently located close to the plaza and other amenities - all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

So close to everything
From the street you wouldn’t know what a hidden treasure this place is. Walked to several locations, Los Bagels, Ice cream, Dutchys pizza, Minor theatre. The best location we’ve ever stayed while visiting Arcata. The insides are modern and look brand new. The bed was amazingly comfy. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

Very Satisfactory Property
We were very pleased with this property. It is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever enjoyed. It is spacious, well furnished and has excellent appliances for use if needed (we didn't). We selected the property largely due to it's spacious and comfortable king size bed and it met all expectations. I had a minor problem getting emails from the property managers, but they did a work around using texts and we were quickly settled in. The property is in a good, safe location, but I was slightly put off by the number of trash cans that were lined up in our driveway. Being surrounded by larger apartment building, I guess that was to be expected. I must say that the exterior of the property was VERY well maintained and, as I said, very safe. I would definitely reserved this property again when visiting the area.

Cozy little place in a great spot
This spot is exactly like you see in the photos. Very cute and clean. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. As a bonus a gas fireplace right next to the bed. The place was very close to the plaza and most nights we walked to dinner and walked back.

Very clean unit, looks like recent remodeling was done. in a quality way. It was convenient to town square, near two natural grocery stores, had easy access to highways, and an off-street parking spot (although one might consider backing into space because others tend to block egress). Very comfortable bedding. It was overall a pleasant stay.

Very nice and comfortable stay for two. Gas fireplace place is a plus. Simple yet elegant design. My only suggestion would be to replace the small round table with one a bit larger to accommodate dining and working space.

GREAT stay in Arcata CA
This property was so nice! Clean and perfect for one person or a couple! The bed was SO comfortable, the BEST sleep I've gotten a long time! Very quiet even though it was so close to The Plaza. Will stay here again!
