"Great location! Very nice fresh breakfast with homemade waffles and eggs. Our room was quite tight but to be expected from the old building. Charming! Just the type of room that we enjoy. We try and avoid the traditional hotels."

"Hotel bastante confortável, em excelente localização. O edifício do hotel (ficamos na Manor) era muito bonito, com arquitetura histórica, e muito bem localizado, íamos caminhando para tudo. Há estacionamento nos fundos (o que é muito importante em Newport). O breakfast era muito bom, com comidas preparadas na hora (amamos as pancakes!!!). A decoração do quarto, vitoriana, era muito linda, deixando a estada ainda mais acolhedora. Recomendamos esse hotel (Manor)."

"O hotel que aparece na foto é a casa principal mas nosso quarto era em outra casa menor. Por um lado a casa da foto é bem mais bonita e elegante mas a casa que ficava nosso quarto era muito bonita também, muito aconchegante, menor mas com quartos muito grandes e o melhor de tudo, era muito melhor localizada: a três quarteirões da principal área do centro da cidade. O café da manhã foi simples mas bem gostoso e caprichado. Durante toda a estadia havia frutas, chá e café disponíveis na sala de...

"Unbelievable bed and breakfast! Innkeepers are fantastic! We listened to their recommendations which were spot on! The food was spectacular! Never slept in a more comfortable bed! Definitely would love to experience again!"

Of course I was given apologies but also explain why instead of asking the quality of the meal “ are you done?”. I did not feel welcomed - though I witnessed how the surrounding guests were treated with far more respect . "

"The Sarah Kendall House was a delightful part of our short stay in Newport. The entire house is gorgeous, and our room was amazing from the size, beauty and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom to the window view of the harbor. Breakfast was a feast of delicious foods. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks to all at the Sarah Kendall House who made our one night in Newport absolutely perfect! "
