"Very clean and cozy. The outside temps were never warmer than 25 F but the inside was always warm and comfy. We could stream on the wifi, and we also had cell service. The owner was responsive to any questions. GPS took us right where we needed to be, and it was dark."

"This house is directly across the road from the lodge and restaurant of Hawk’s Nest State Park. The backyard actually sits against state park lines and there are a few trails right across the road. The area has great views and being in a single family home was wonderful once we arrived with a spacious living room and dining room, board games and comfortably heated! The yard and land were also very spacious and great to walk around with the pups. Great host & will definitely recommend this place...

"We had a great time seeing all the sites near the New River Gorge area. This cabin was nice and cozy, very clean. Being able to turn the gas heater up a bit after being outside in the cool weather sure does warm the bones. Cabin is on a quiet dead end drive. Road is narrow and had a small washout from all the rain, my only complaint but not Toms fault."

"Although about 5 minutes from Rt. 19, the location of the rental has a nice forest view from the deck with no neighbors in sight. The floor plan accommodated my group of five well and, upon arrival, the cabin was exceptionally clean- it even smell nice. If it is important to you, the outdoor are was every bit as nice as the cabin itself."

We loved the open concept living, dining, kitchen area where we could all hangout and the 3 bedrooms where we could each retreat for "quiet time". Hurricane Helene rained down on us so we couldn't enjoy the porch or yard but it looked like a nice spot to hang out if the weather cooperates. While the property is close to town, walking on King Avenue is a little risky -- there are no sidewalks or even shoulders to get out of...
