"I stayed for a couple of weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the the house was warm for the season. I will return if I'm able. My little dog needed to be carried up and down the stairs but that was a minor concern since he only weighs 11 pounds."

"When reviewing properties this one certainly spoke to me . I wanted to have a bright quiet and clean space for the week. It did not disappoint. Lewis responded to the small questions we did have immediately. He accommodated our early check in following an early treatment that morning ."

"I’m impressed at the location of this property. On my first morning, I walked towards The Forks. There are others walking, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. In the night time, the neighborhood is quiet. The property is well renovated inside with modern amenities. The host is very accommodating and communicated well. "

"The character and location of the house is amazing. The pool was not clean, it was green and that was one of the main reasons we wanted this place. So we couldn’t use the pool. Our bedding was old brown blankets, one had smoke burns in them the others smelled bad. We had no dish towels so we cleaned with paper towel,the facilities weren’t stocked we had to go find towels, soap, extra toilet paper. Those little things we would have put up with if the pool worked. We also had to unclog the drain...

"This property is very well maintained and is excellent value, especially for large families. It also has an excellent location near to St. Boniface Hospital, downtown and the Forks. The kitchen is modern and complete. Fresh muffins were a very nice touch. The host is freindly and available."

"Was attending the Winnipeg Folk Festival for the first time and just really needed a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay overnight and for a few days afterwards. Place was spotless, communication great, beds super comfortable. It's a long narrow 2-story unit so would be cozy for more than a few people to spend much time there. Had a car so can't really comment on walkability, but we had no trouble finding the Marion, Pauline and Stella's for really great brunches. Are all the restaurants...

"I have stayed at this hotel several times. Only complaint is the bathrooms. They require renovation. The size of room is good but the height of the vanity is very low, about 32", should 36". The toilets are awful about 11" high. They should be 17". Really hurts my back."
