Welcome to Blackiron Tiny House by Tiny Away! An ideal natural hideaway with wide-open spaces, natural wildlife displays, and only a short walk to the Andromache River for fishing and swimming. Where you can fully experience the slow laid-back atmosphere of taking lazy afternoon naps and relaxing by the campfire while telling stories about all peaceful country living has to offer.

The Space:
Blackiron Tiny House by Tiny Away is located in Whitsunday Region Queensland, close to Airlie Beach Lagoon, Great Barrier Reef diving tours and Cedar Creek Falls Walk. A cozy 190-square-foot farm stay with a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save the environment.
We've recently planted a paddock of sunflowers and now offer romantic setup packages, adding a special touch to your farm stay experience. Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence, associated sheds, and dwellings.

Other Things to Note:
- Mobile reception is good
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have a small flock of sheep and chickens on the property
- Please be advised that there will be farm animal noise during your stay
- Pets are not allowed to stay inside the house and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent before arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
