"We loved the outdoor space, location near the Queen Charlotte Track and the snooker table! It was our first time playing snooker. There is room to spread out, but the bedrooms were tight. Unfortunately, there were no outlets in the bathroom. Not a big thing, but something we noticed and were aware of. We appreciated that they were environmentally aware and made it easy for us to participate. We would return in a heartbeat!"

"This place was in an absolutely idyllic setting. There were vineyards and baby goats and sheep, just off the back of the property and waking up to open the back curtains and see the view of the mountains and the vineyards was just perfection. Mike at the front desk was super helpful. The amenities were all in good working order. I would go back there for a week or two every single year if I could "

"I booked my stay at 2 Kiwis on Ward for some much needed Rest and Relaxation and wasn't disappointed. Jax my host is kind, caring and warm hearted and provides a service and space that is second to none. "Blue cod off jetty, shark and stingray cruising by. Amazing forest walks. Bathroom was not so clean and bbq so dirty it caught fire but we cleaned it and carried on. It was well worth it!!!"

Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. "Situated overlooking Portage and 270deg views. Had a perfectly relaxing weekend with kayaking and walking and plenty of spa time. You don't have the house to yourself which we didn't realise when we booked it. However, you don't see the owners and your little self contained room is accessible without disturbing them."

"Close to the water with amazing views, very private with plenty of activities both indoors and outdoors. Perfect weather on arrival and departure but unfortunately not good on our one full day at the bach so we didn’t get to use the dinghy or kayaks. It’s close proximity to Picton meant we could drive into town for dinner both nights.Overall we had an awesome time away and would love to return."
