"This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. "Overall the house was very cute! There were a couple of issues though. There was only a/c in the living room. There was also a leak in the living room ceiling. However the owners were kind in refunding one days rent because of this. The response time on email was not great and the floors were dirty to the point that our socks were black and we were wearing flip flops in the house. "A beautiful house on Lake Huron. Well maintained and inviting. The beach area has a lot of room for long beach walks, and there are beach chairs, kayaks, and a great firepit.The house also has a lovely fireplace. The he pnly complaint I had was that the TV could not get live sports games. Otherwise, I would definitely reccomend this property. The 2 times I had to ask questions of the host the response was promt."

"Cabin was nice clean and comfortable for us and our two dogs. The view from the private dock there is an amazing was amazing. Just one thing for those who have dogs who love the water like ours. There is no access to the water on the property, however, the state park is two miles away and there is an amazing dog beach there!"

"We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!!"

"Absolutely loved this place!! The only downfall was that we were unaware they put ac in the week before we came, so the fans in our car took a lot of room. Water was clean, neighbors were friendly. They had books and board games too. They had more to offer than expected. I ever back."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage. "
