"The property is just as pictured. It was clean and ready for our stay. Jan dropped by shortly after we arrived to touch base with us and provide info which was very much appreciated. She seems to take great pleasure in providing the best stay for her guests. The location on Lake Ontario was ideal and the house was well stocked for a very easy stay. If the opportunity arises for another trip to the lake, this will be our first choice! "

"It was what I expected for the most part. Was surprised the windows were frosted so couldn’t see outside. That was strange. But at least they couldn’t see in . Was on a mainStreet so could hear people walking and talking. Expected that but took some getting used to. The bed was super comfy, walk in shower superb. Bedroom doorway was very narrow.frig with freezer was good so I could keep ice."

"We stayed with our pup for the Labor Day weekend and we loved it. The lodge is actually bigger than appears on the pictures. It is located in the walking distance to all restaurants, the Sodus Point beach and only 20-minute drive to Chimney Bluffs. Matthew was very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend it."

"We truly enjoyed our stay. This was a last-minute booking and we could not have been more pleased. Everything was clean and comfortable and the listing was completely accurate. "We came from Charleston, SC, to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family and friends. I have always loved Sodus Point and couldn't wait to show my children the area. From the moment we walked in, I adored the cottage. I felt right at home, very cozy and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the game room and walking to dinner at Captain Jack's. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you! "

"From the day i booked it the process was simple. I needed to add a night and the host changed my dates for me. The cottage was clean and in a relaxing neighborhood. I was provided contact information for the host if i needed anything during the stay. Will definitely rent property in the future."
