"This is my second time staying at this beautiful home in San Juan del Sur. My family and I had a great time during our way too short 3 night stay. We loved hanging out by the pool, played table games, read books while relaxing on the hammock, cooked and made awesome memories. The Sea House had everything we needed to make delicious family meals. Marina and Eddy are always so kind and helpful. The house is close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the birds singing in the...

"Casa El Faro was quite comfortable and well maintained spacious 2 bedroom+ home with great view of the town and bay below. The overall complex (formerly called Pelican Eyes) has suffered over the years, but rumor is it is soon to be reinvigorated with new ownership. Once the toast of the town this has the potential to return to that level. Walkable to town (albeit with a few stairs that could use a bit of TLC to reduce the slipping hazard - mostly due to rainy season so not likely a concern...

"Very nice location - clean and friendly. My family enjoyed so much!! "

"The Cooper house and the Casita Romantica is everything as edvertised. My wife and 8 year old son truly enjoyed the great views, local shopping and amazing food just 5 minutes away from the house. I like to give a special recognition to Gabriel Zamora, the property manager for being on top of things during our stay. He made sure our pool clean and the the house keepers did a great job daily of our rooms and living areas."

"The pictures do no justice. This is a fantastic property. Perfectly located in walking distance to everything. Enough space to spread out. The hospitality of Marvin and others was nothing short of superb. I cannot recommend this home enough. Would definitely stay again."

"I was very happy with the choice of staying at this place. I stayed for two months and was able to cook. The beds were comfortable and the space felt large. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs that has views of the mountains. So when it rains you can still hang out on the porch. The sunset clouds are so beautiful. There is the most wonderful local family that overseas the property. The only downside is the road up to the place is really rough."

"The accommodations were beautiful, the layout was so great , we were 9 adults , the place was huge , everyone had there own bed. The sunsets were amazing incredible, even better than the pictures. And Claudia and Elsi were very accommodating, and so so helpful. Hope to be back someday !"

"Our stay here was AMAZING! The house was very clean and the staff (Allan and his wife, Leticia) were super helpful. They cooked us some delicious dinners and were very attentive to all our Needs. The pool is great, we had some amazing sunsets and We were a short walk to Remanzo beach. We went for my sister’s 40th birthday and there were 13 of us, the house was super spacious and just so Comfortable. We made some amazing memories here and hope to be back soon"

"The view is breathtaking, ac is cold, pool is refreshing and staff is fantastic. My whole family enjoyed this vacation. We had yoga instructors come from San Juan most mornings for family yoga in the private palapa as well as masseuses a couple times for sunset 10/10. The beach is really close, surfing is fun for all levels, restaurants are delicious. Town is about 30min out on a dirt road, and they are building a new road as I was there so may be closer soon - will be back!!"

"I got sick, woke up with 104 fever 4 days before my stay and had to go to the hospital. I messaged the host to advise him immediately that I missed my flight and had to cancel hoping to get a voucher or reschedule. I never heard anything. Then a day prior someone from the resort who represents him asked me how my stay was, at which time I reiterated that I was not even in the country, didn’t make it on my trip, and I advise that representative that had messaged the host. "The room was beautiful with amazing views of the volcano and lake. There were monkeys on the property. The staff were freindly and helpful. There was a compost toilet in my room and solar panels on the property. The shower was really cool, it was in a outdoir area of the restroom with plants and rocks. "

We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space.
