"This is a beautiful home. The builders put more window than wall wherever possible and there are lovely views in all directions. Looking through the trees at the valley below from the deck was especially nice. Lot's of privacy and space with a tall fence with only visible neighbor. House was well stocked- did all our meals there and found everything we needed. Seems like they've added things to the kitchen since earlier reviews. Spotlessly clean. Host replied quickly when I had trouble...

"The house was great. Very clean, functional, and comfortable. My only minor complaints are the listing says 3 bedrooms but in reality it's only 2; the upstairs loft has no divider wall/door. Also, the spiral staircase is super narrow and steep; only slim and fit individuals should stay/go upstairs. "

"I am retired and have a bad knee. But my aches and pains were less while out by the pond. I love the quiet and nature showing itself everywhere. Great site for star watching too. We saw one shooting star the first night. Good glamping. Even my old dog, Emma, loved walking around and around the camper on the leash. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Nevada City. The location was great and very walkable to shops and restaurants. Parking was easy. The narrow driveway was ok, but lots of street spots were available right across the street. The home is very nice. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and bathrooms had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with a nice variety of things people had left such as spices, cooking oil, etc... I think its nice when some of those things can become communal...

"We loved everything about our stay here! The area gorgeous and the home is incredible! We were very comfortable even through a brutal heatwave (105 degrees!!) The path to the lake is beautiful and well maintained. You could tell how much thought and care was given to this sweet home!"

"My cousin got married at Forest Hill Lodge, and we found this cottage to stay at. It was the perfect location! Literally 500 feet away and we didn't have to worry about driving the windy roads back to a hotel. The space was perfect for me and my husband, nice and clean, and had an air conditioner. The only issue we had was that the given information for the wifi connection was not accurate, but we had full internet on our phones, so it wasn't a big deal for us."

"The house was perfect for our family to stay at for our son's wedding. The location was perfect. I appreciated the flowers and welcome sign. Our pets were welcomed too. I just had to wipe down the outdoor chairs they were a little dirty. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"I had a wonderful time here! Although the theme is "rustic mining camp", the little cabins were very clean and the bathroom and kitchenette very modern and nicely finished. Loved the creative decorating with antique and old "repurposed" items! Looking forward to a future stay with the extended family and utilizing the central lawn/BBQ kitchen/corn hole and horseshoes...."
