"Cosy and well located "

"Excellent property. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were very nice"

"Lovely property, very well equipped, loved the wood burner, many extras washing up liquid, washing powder , hand wash , logs , fire lighters, toilet roll ect. Unfortunately to many stairs for me ."

"We loved the house for it's space and location. It's really well equipped with very comfortable beds. Plenty of room for three families with teenagers. The games room and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyed! Huge kitchen to socialise and cook easily in. Cosy lounge for chilling out. Lovely to have dog bed, bowls, treats etc provided. We enjoyed being able to stroll around Matlock. It was perfect, and we hope to return! "

"Great location to explore the Peaks and views from the village are breathtaking. Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. The cottage has all you’d need for a few days stay and any questions we’ve had were quickly responded to by the owner...

"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

It is well located and a short walk down into town (but probably a long climb back which we didn’t do because of the ice) The hosts could not have been more helpful. "Hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy and comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff on check in/out. I had a breakfast which was the usual full English items but very fresh. Again all lovely and clean and tidy. Highly recomend. So handy for rail station."
