Great getaway!
We had a great weekend at the cabin. We had an issue with the cabin being clean, but that we rectified shortly after we arrived. We loved the hot tub and the amount of stars we could see at night. Alma is a great little town and we recommend stopping by the Highest Saloon in North America!

Would not recommend!
We were excited to travel from out of state and spend 3 nights here with family. Unfortunately the place was not as advertised and was a huge disappointment... Positives- beautiful location, a lot of potential, good communication with the property contact (confirmation e-mail contact info was different than what was listed in the binder at the cabin so make sure you contact the right person if you have issues) Negatives- Hot tub- The hot tub was green, smelled like fish, there was no chlorine, it was only half full and the cover was broken in half when we arrived. We booked this location specifically to use the hot tub. Fortunately, after a lot of communication with the contact and pushing that we wanted it fixed... it was finally fixed but we were only able to use it for 1 of the 3 days we were there. They did replace the cover. They have not yet reimbursed us appropriately for this!! Cleanliness- This place could use a good deep cleaning. It doesn't appear the lights or mantle have ever been cleaned and were coated in grease and dead bugs/gnats. There were boxes of cereal in the closet with expiration dates of Dec 2023. SAFETY- Caution to families with children! The railing on the deck over looking the valley/driveway has spindles that are broken and wobbly. We had to constantly watch our children and keep them away from the railing. The management company only said "the owner is aware". Very dangerous! We would definitely avoid Evolve Prop Mgmt in the future!

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful, private mountain log home. Perfect accommodations for our family of 7. Loved the hot tub in the evenings and the views. One little thing to improve is to provide bath mat for the upstairs bathroom, floor was very slippery/unsafe when wet.

The cabin was spacious and well done with fabulous views from the deck as promised. We were unable to take advantage of all of the amenities during our short 3-night stay, but sitting in the hot tub while supper was grilling, watching the sun set on the 14-ers, well, it was better than words can convey. The kitchen had everything I needed to present meals to all 7 guests. We were within moments of fishing and hiking areas. Alma was a short drive and the general store does have everything. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the cabin and the area.

Unbelievable Cabin
This cabin was absolutely stunning, we had an amazing time, the views were gorgeous. The kitchen, dining room and living space upstairs was perfect. Absolutely zero complaints, perfect Cabin that’s just outside of Breckinridge, making it peaceful, but close enough to the fun in town, we saw Deer, Elk, right outside of the cabin. One morning it was -5 degrees outside and the view from the deck was so beautiful it didn’t even feel cold enjoying my morning coffee out there. It’s a must see Cabin, we hope to be back next year

Great property in a fantastic location
We spent 3 days on a fly fishing trip. This location across from the South Platte was great and being close to Fairplay beach and the SWAs with access to the middle and south forks of the South Platte was also great.

Best views by far
This property is a gem! This was a last minute trip for my husband and I and man oh man were we so surprised and so happy. The view off the porch was amazing and we def will be booking this house again with family! We hiked and ate such great food and the hot tub was so great for the evenings when our muscles were sore. We do have a suggestion and just about the only one we have. We came home after dinner and being out one evening noticing that the driveway was wet and the hot tub was leaking from the porch above. We ran up stairs to check it out and we noticed that the hot tub was over flowing and was freezing which we knew it had just been hot. We also noticed water tracks from the hot tub all the way to the front door of the house which would have been impossible unless someone had been there. So we were kind of nervous. We contacted the property manager and sure enough someone had been there. Our suggestion would have been that if someone is going to show up after hours to leave a card or something letting renters know someone was there. We were scared something had happened. Anywho. It was a wonderful stay and the house was perfect! Thank you again for allowing such a beautiful home to be shared with others!

Beautiful
Lovely, comfortable house! We had issues losing power the first night, which was unfortunate, but no fault of the owners. Apparently this does happen somewhat frequently, so stocking some extra flashlights/candles would be a good idea. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved the deck/hot tub/views. Hope to stay here again!

Good overall
The property is beautiful and the view is everything promised! The cleanliness of the house was wonderful and the hot tub was sparkling. The property contact, Phil, could have better customer service skills and didn’t have any information on what pantry items we might expect on site. The kitchen appliances and utensils are also in poorer working conditions than expected. We would stay again, just bring our own knives and pans!

Alma retreat
This house was located in Alma just 25 minutes from Breckenridge. Glad we stayed at this house as the views and scenery was fabulous. Lots of local fishing ponds and resevoires. House was very spacious and many in our party enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. We all enjoyed our time.

Breathtaking views and great location
We are a family of four and stayed for a week. The view on the porch is absolutely amazing. We spent evenings grilling and sitting in the hot tubs. Great fishing is just steps away. Montgomery Reservoir is just 5 min drive with fishing and beautiful hikes. The house was well Stocked with kitchen supplies, laundry supplies, trash bags, kids books, and even a bucket of legos. The bottom floor had some dog odor and living room furniture needed some updating. We would definitely stay again, though. Thank you for sharing your home.

This cabin was everything we were looking for! Spacious, secluded and relaxing. We had a great time cooking family dinner and relaxing by the fire, and took advantage of the hot tub. The views can’t be beat.

Log cabin was perfect for our family. Hot tub was amazing after skiing for 4+ days and everybody loved sitting by the fireplace. The washer and dryer was very convenient. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Property was exactly as listed. 4 queen beds with an additional bunk bed, game room is down, main living and 2 bedrooms on second floor, and master up. Home is very comfortable and able to accommodate a larger family with ease. It is a decent drive from Breckenridge to the house, but was not an issue for us. Summit County does a good job of keeping the main road passable. If you do plan to come in the winter, chains might be required for a 2WD to make it up the driveway. Other than that, 5 stars from us. Thank you to the owners, it was truly a memorable trip.

Secluded relaxation
The house was spacious and well equipped. The dish TV didn't work and the wifi was a bit spotty, but it encouraged more time together. I will say that the wobbly living room table was quite dangerous with the toddlers that were with us, so maybe consider securing that a bit better. Otherwise it was a great trip!
