"Very cute. Very clean. Very quiet. Host was great and super understanding when we had to cut out trip short last minute and refunded us with very little penalty. Incinerator toilet could be stinky outside at times as it exhausts to the side of the cabin. Overall, great little spot for a quick getaway."

Beautiful area with picturesque mountain lakes, separated from the crowds of Lake George without feeling inconvenient. "This was a cute unit. It’s an older property so everything creeks, but part of the charm. Very very noisy people on the second floor, but that wasn’t the rental companies fault. Rate was good, but fees were extremely high. I’ve never seen the fees higher than the nightly rate and I use VRBO all the time. "

"This property is just a few minutes away from Gore. Property owner checked in with me as soon as I got to the property and made sure I had what I needed and knew how to get to stores and the mountain were from the property. It was nice, clean and safe, and a perfect place to crash after a long day on the snow."

"Couldn’t get into one of the rooms shown but I think the door was swollen, decent sized place right off of downtown, easy parking and access. Will be staying again come spring. Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? "It was the absolute worst stay I've ever had. I've rented 50 plus houses and this was terrible!!! Vacausa is terrible at fixing broken things in a house, they just want your money. It started out with the hot water breaking the first night. We called and emailed and were told it was going to be fixed. Of course it wasn't. The next night the heat broke and of course never fixed. Avoid vacausa like the plague!!! If I could.give them a 0 rating I would!!!"

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here.
