"We just came back from a 4 day stay at Seven Seasons at the end of May 2024. El Alamein is an hour away from Alexandria, which wasn’t something we hadn’t fully realised until we got there. Also, it was not peak season so many things were not fully operating, like the Aqua Park. The apartment we stayed in was far away from the nearest pool so we needed to be driven there. "The good stuff - the host met us as we arrived; focused on the beauty so we did not see the bad parts til later (our fault); amazing balcony view of the Mediterranean and footpath to the water; floors and bathrooms were reasonably clean; family-friendly beach nearby where umbrellas and chairs could be rented The bad - multiple windows were cracked, broken furniture legs, countertops dusty and greasy, clean but stained linens, no toilet paper provided.
