"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done. "Lock on the bathroom didn’t work, wifi not great. We stayed in number 19 flat 3. Don’t feel it should be advertised as luxury/deluxe, location really good so would recommend for that. And good value for money, perfect for 1-2 nights 👍 Wife says could’ve done with another mirror for getting ready. "

"The apartment is lovely furnished with a full kitchen and it is very clean and everything you need is ready. The hot chocolate and the biscuits are so lovely. Staffs are nice and ready to help. There is an ice cream farm nearby. The milk and ice cream are fabulous. "

"Cottage is perfect for a stay for 2, Everything you need is provided along with some thoughtful extras. Ideally placed for a walking holiday and a visit to Chatsworth. Many places to eat within easy walking distance. Hardly needed to use our car. "

"Spent a long weekend, Friday- Monday, with family in this comfortable,spacious cottage. Beautiful village that was a lot busier than I excepted. The cottage is close to the shops, pubs,restaurants and take away establishments. It is home from home with nearly everything you could possibly need "

"We had a great stay at the cottage, the children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool it was brilliant."

"Great location to explore the Peaks and views from the village are breathtaking. Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. The cottage has all you’d need for a few days stay and any questions we’ve had were quickly responded to by the owner...

"Nice welcoming cottage with Christmas tree lit as we arrived which was so appreciated. Felt at home straight away. Very comfortable, good local shops.
