Other things to note:
Old building - although this apartment has been remodeled there are many quirks that come along with trying to preserve a historic building. For example, most of the brick flooring is original but you will see in places that the owners had to replace with newer bricks as the old ones crumble, if you come across any that need attention please let me know.
Large Garbage container located behind the complex
Possibility for noise - apartments are part of an 8plex. This apartment is on the bottom floor with another apartment above. Typical neighbor noise is expected as with any apartment living.
Low Flow Toilets - do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper
Air conditioner - please do not run temp lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in.
Sofa Bed - not the most comfortable bed. We have added another layer of foam under the bedding but please be aware that it is not the most comfortable bed.
Parking - parking lot in front of complex
The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.
Recording device: Doorbell camera is attached to front door (this is the only camera) and is used to monitor guest count and for security purposes.
The Neighborhood:
We love the historic feel and the charm that Old Town delivers. It's always enjoyable to slow down and spend time strolling through the square and the numerous shops and restaurants available. We feel perfectly safe walking around Old Town both day and night, just sticking to the immediate blocks around the plaza, and around Rio Grande Blvd. Going from Central towards Downtown does have some isolated stretches so it is recommended to use common safety sense as you would in any big city.
Distance to:
