Great Stay
The property was accurate to the listing , clean , and inviting. The procedures for disposing of trash at the compactor and utilizing the other amenities were also well laid out and easy to follow. My group was at an all day event for most of our stay, but the clean and warm house to come back to turned the trip from good to great

Overall, it was a mixed experience.
We stayed in this house for 3 days with my family. The location was nice, and the house was clean, which we appreciated. However, the house itself is quite old, and so is the furniture, especially the sofa and chairs – they’re worn out and sagging and really need replacing. Another downside was the trash disposal – it’s a bit inconvenient to take it so far. The stores are also located quite a distance away. On the bright side, we loved the hot tub – it was very clean – and enjoyed the billiards table as well. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

We loved our stay at this property. It is centrally located to lots of places to see. Great restaurants in the area. The host was very friendly and responsive. The property was very clean.

Pretty setting BUT….
Hosts were very responsive, house was clean, great temperature control and nice natural lighting in the front room and kitchen area. Close to turnpike. Some things we wish we had known BEFORE we booked: The property does not sleep 10, but will accommodate 6 if they share beds. Both of the sleeper sofa beds are broken. The property has a LOT of rules. You need to submit license plate info BEFORE you arrive (a hassle for large groups & last minute changes). Hosts were patient, but did email repetitively for this info even weeks before it was due. We were instructed to wear wrist bands the entire trip—Even when not using community amenities. There was a sign for the hot tub warning us to shower after use because of possible cancer causing chemicals. Ick. Another sign posted if the toilet backs up we may be charged if they suspect we flushed something not allowed. We worried we may be blamed if previous guests broke the “rule”. YOU are expected to take the trash with you when you leave. There is a drop off spot on the community grounds for that. Towels: there are not enough shower towels for 8 people (had to use some unused beach towels from the hot tub). There is a long unavoidable divot about a foot away from the front porch. Everyone tripped on it, one of our guests sprained her ankle. We reported a broken door handle, hole in wall and running toilet upon arrival. Hosts said it will be addressed.

Amazing Poconos vacation
The Mountain Chalet was a perfect spot for everything we wanted to do in the Poconos. Horseback riding, white water rafting, Camelback Resort, Jim Thorpe train & trolley tours, hiking Hawk Falls are all within 30-35 minutes. The pool table was an awesome after dinner family activity and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing with a cold beverage at the end of the day. The community amenities were also perfect. The lake, pool, snack bar and restaurant were all clean and well maintained and a very short ride from the house. The house was very cozy, everything was as shown in the pictures. All the beds were extremely comfortable, there were plenty of cooking utensils, spices and daily cleaning supplies. The only 2 things I would recommend: 1. A tune up of the hot tub. It's an older model and the jets were a little weak, (just personal preference). 2. The couch felt a little lumpy but we were busy enough where it was barely used. Everything about the house, amenities and location made our Poconos vacation absolutely perfect!

Great property and host but had issues with the kitchen.
My partner and I had a great time at property. The amenities like the pool table and hot tub made for a.cozy Poccono getaway. We encountered some basic needs though that were lacking. Over our 4 days and 3 nights, my partner and I cooked 7 different meals and 18 courses. The kitchen only has 2 trash bags, one kitchen towel, and no dishwasher soap.

Needs some TLC
The exterior of the property is in need of both a thorough cleaning, and some repairs to both the front porch and the back hot tub area. Despite that, the interior of the house was clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the hot water heater leaking, and although it was late the management took care of having a plumber come out and replace it immediately. The hot tub was wonderful, and the beds quite comfortable. It would be advisable to replace the cracked and broken outdoor chairs, and have the gutters cleaned, there are plants growing in them. We also felt since there were no doors on either the entry closet or laundry area, curtains would be a nice touch. The kitchen needs to have utensils replaced…I think there were three teaspoons, and we had to buy our own large skillet. The stools at the breakfast bar need attention. They are very stained. It looks as though people sat on them while wearing swim suits wet from the chlorinated water in the hot tub. Overall our family’s stay was pleasant. We loved seeing the deer wander through the property. But the above mentioned things do need attention.

Quiet and great amenities
We spent most of our time out and about, but it was so nice to have fun things to do back at the rental too! The hot tub, pool table and TV were all such great perks! The house really is beautiful and it was EXTREMELY clean. So helpful to have a washer/dryer to keep up with laundry and lots of items were stocked well so that we didn't have to run to the store often. Beautiful view of a family of deer across the street thoughout our time there. Only complaint was that the smoke alarm was very sensitive and it's not easy to reach. Had a unique emergency that the owner quickly resolved for us. Very much appreciated! Hot tub deck could use a quick leaf blower. Small inconvenieces for a truly gorgeous home and fun vacation. Thank you all so much for sharing your home with us.

The house was beautiful jacuzzi was hot and running when we arrive . Toiletries were provided and towels for the jacuzzi . Pots and kitchen utensils were provided . Forgot my seasoning so it was a plus they had some in the cabinets . We spent a lot of time on the front deck enjoying nature seeing the animals and just talking and playing card games . It rained alittle but the table out front has an umbrella which is a little more lus. The trash was a mission to find so follow their notes and throw away your stuff periodically maybe take a picture of the instructions . We played pool and enjoyed watching scary movies by the fire. However the spot bed want usable as it seemed to have a slow leak. So we used the pull out downstairs as additional sleep area and noticed it was missing a screw to that attached the mattress to the spring but other then that no complaints we will rent again with this company for sure .

Good Stay
Overall we had a good stay. Host was responsive and kind. The home was overall in good shape and was clean inside. The biggest complaint we had was that the parking area and outside decks were a mess. The driveway has a few washed out ruts that are a hazard especially at night, and the decks were covered in leaves and branches. The branches on the deck with the hotub were very uncomfortable to step on while getting out. This seems like a minor thing but ultimately its an easy thing to correct and should have been cleaned beforehand. Otherwise no complaints.

We had an amazing time staying at this house. It was very clean, the hot tub was awesome, we seen deer every day in the yard feeding, the house was equipped with everything we needed. Would for sure go to this place again. What a great family getaway.

Girls Trip
Everything was great from start to finish! My girlfriends and I just needed a nice low-key weekend away. This was perfect. Beautiful home and community. We saw some beautiful deer and even a fox. We enjoyed a great dinner at Murphy's Loft too. If you go I highly recommend Rachel as your server. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. Look forward to doing it again.

Fine place to stay
I think this place was just fine. There were a few things that kind of could have been better but none worth complaining or giving a super low rating for. The location is great and there is a ton of wild life in the area. Place was clean and tidy. Pool table and hot tub were wonderful. I would definitely plan on bringing and cooking your own food as most places are not close by. There are plenty of pizza places but besides that not a lot of variety. I suggest pocono pizza, however, we waited about an hour and a half for delivery. Most fast food and gas stations that provide hot food are 20+ minutes away. Trash drop off was impossible to find via the fridge directions so we wound up taking the trash home with us. My suggestion for the property owner to leave the address of where it is located exactly so it can be put in gps. A few other items that could possibly be make or break for others. Beds weren’t super comfortable and although the listing says the master has a king, it felt more like a queen. The air didn’t work super well and we were unable to open the window in the master as well. We were unable to get the Nintendo to work as it wasn’t even plugged into the tv and we were unable to get the tv to move to plug it in. All and all the stay was fine. These are small inconveniences but not enough for us to never come back.
