"We stayed here in mid-October where the fall colors were just about peak. The panoramic view from the porch exceeded our expectations - just breathtaking. The water was a nice feature although the boardwalk was not really functioning. We found that you don't really need it to get to the water's edge. "My wife and youngest daughter spent 3 days relaxing. I fished while they shopped and laid out in the sun on the awesome dock. We had a great time making s’mores in the fire pit and Catching up. The house had everything we needed and more. I really enjoyed fishing in the canoe. The sunset was amazing great location. If you need to relax I recommend this listing it was so easy and the owner was in communications with us when we were on are way the home. "

"Very nice house and beautiful location. Loved the dock and spent a lot of time there enjoying the great weather. Dock was perfect size for securing and storing my boat. Owner should fix hand rail on deck as it was very wobbly. In addition the bbq grill was covered in grease and caught our burgers on fire the first night. Had to breakdown the grill and clean to use the second night. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope...

"I had stayed at this cute little house a couple of years ago with 3 friends. Wanted to show my husband the area, so one of my friends and I brought him along this time. The house is in a great location, it has beautiful views and most importantly, it is easy to access for people with limited mobility. (My friend and husband both deal with spinal stenosis) Loved our stay and highly recommend!"
