"Overall the farmhouse is absolutely outstanding! Love the layout, interior design and very comfortable and quiet. There a few things that require attention of the property owner such as the storm door off the kitchen needs minor adjustments so it will close, previous tenant did not clean out the grill, need a king size bed in master bedroom and need to put the couch up on blocks or something because can’t get out of it when your older. Absolutely love the farmhouse design. "

"I traveled back up here from our home on the coast. What made this special was getting to see the Watusi and being in such a private loaction. It happened to be exactly what we needed on this rainy November weekend. We went to Fort Toulous's Frontier Days and ate at Montgomery's Volcano Hot Pot restauraunt. Another assett was the clean, nostalgic setup of the cabin and the DVD collection. I showed Nathan the movie Little Miss Sunshine, and he showed me Life Aquatic. We woke up the next morning...

"We all had a wonderful time! Turned out perfect for our family. I will say the pictures on VRBO are a little misleading. The grounds were not the manicure lawns shown and there were other cabins on the property close to the house that you do not see in the pictures. But it did turn out great for us!"

"Our family enjoyed this lake house so much even though it rained on and off most of the time. The paddle boards and kayaks were great and also a paddle boat was available. We were able to make s’mores around the fire pit one night. Perfect setting! Also have a great fenced in area for dogs or small kids. Owner was very accommodating and the house was especially well stocked with basics compared to other Vrbo’s we have rented.. Thank you for an excellent family getaway before school starts back!"

"Nice property that has been recently remodeled. Worked great for our group that came down for the football game. Great area out back to hang out with friends with a fire pit. Had a nice coffee bar which was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again! "
