"Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. The only thing keeping me from returning for a whole remote work week is the internet speed. It was spotty and not reliable for a prolonged work stay."

"A vista do quarto e da piscina é maravilhosa, de frente para a cauda da baleia do Parque Marino Ballena. Há uma trilha muito legal na propriedade do hotel que leva à algumas cachoeiras onde é possível nadar nas piscinas naturais. Os funcionários são simplesmente incríveis. Jose e Roy fazem com que os hóspedes tenham a mais perfeita estadia."

"Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing!...

"I recently stayed at the Hotel Uvita Forest for two nights and had a comfortable stay. The accommodation is very modern, featuring a well-equipped kitchenette, great air conditioning and a comfy bed. There is a pool area that is shared between the rooms and the villas, with sun loungers and areas to sit around it. "After a very long day in shuttles from Puerto Viejo, Gilberto was a very gracious, friendly and welcoming host. He quickly got us into our room and albeit "Happy Hour" was over, he set us up with a couple beverages and let us get settled.
