"Our between season visit to Lake Placid in mid April was very relaxed and enjoyable! Ismeta was very responsive to my concerns about parking and was very helpful and accommodating!"

"We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us."

"We stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. The apartment has an awkward layout with both bathrooms being only accessible from the living area.Everything is old and well used. Mattresses are not comfortable, etc. The shower had mold in the corners, but everything functioned.This unit is located on the 3rd floor with a lot of stairs to get to it. That is really not stated clearly. If you have mobility issues, I would think twice.It is located in an excellent part of town, walking distance to all...

"The apartment is clean, comfortable, and efficient, on a quiet street tucked away close to the busy part of Lake Placid. The location is walking distance to downtown so I never had to struggle for a parking spot. Many good activities and locations nearby with a very short drive."
