"We enjoyed our stay in Winter Harbor. The house is exactly as advertised. It is very cute, but roomy enough to accommodate 4-6 adults no problem. The best thing though, it is within easy walking distance to the harbor, the Five and Dime store (literally next door), restaurants, and the grocery store. It's the perfect location in this charming town. The only improvement we could think of was a little more furniture - a couple more chairs in the living room (although it has a big sectional couch)...

"The house was beautifully set up for a lovely stay with our family. We had plans to visit some of the many preserve walks that are conveniently located nearby, however the house, beach and location itself was so charming we decided to stay in and enjoy it instead. "Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton...

"House is 1980’s decor. Beds are comfortable, but, there’s minuscule little night stands beside each bed. There’s a tiny TV and very uncomfortable living room furniture in the TV room. The washer and dryer were nice to have. Overall, it’s the scenery that makes this house so special. "

"This was a lovely home situated on a beautiful lake. At first we we not quite sure if we were in the right place when we turned off a rural road onto a dirt and gravel road. However, when we finally arrived everyone loved it! It was off the beaten path and about 40-45 minutes from Bar Harbor and the main entrance for Acadia National Park. We were also able to venture to Schoodic Point as well as some local restaurants and shops near Sullivan. A great time was had by all."
