"We have been to Mentone/Desoto a good bit over the years, but this was the first time in several, and it was the BEST! We were wanting a quiet, romantic getaway and this cabin was PERFECT!! To start, the owner reached out in advance to answer any questions and to give notice of what to expect. He even gave us a slew of recommendations for food and activities, which ended up being GREAT! When we first arrived to the cabin, we were took back by the design and decor, it was as if everything was set...

"We were surprised the cabin was on the corner of a street leading to a dead end with other cabins . We had a lot of traffic. The neighbors big dog howled alot ( I know it isn’t the owners fault). The floors need a good cleaning. Also the temperature should be dropped to below 80 before arrival in the summer. The cabin was very hot and the concrete floors were wet. It needs more wash cloths. Would never be enough for the amount of people it is supposed to cater to. Bed was very comfortable....

"A lovely little cabin tucked back in the woods. It was so comfy and had everything we needed. It is close to lots of hiking trails, Little River Canyon, DeSoto National Park and downtown Mentone. Our 2 standard poodles loved running through the woods around the cabin. Our host was very attentive to our needs and questions. I’m looking forward to going back sometime in the future. "
