After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel.
It's set in a small, quiet village near the river.
We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent
The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy.

"I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. "Modern, relaxed with super service, food and rooms. Bed mattress amazingly comfortable. Spa great and nice outdoor touches with seating with great views and water features. "It was approx 15 mins walk to the main town of Llandudno, was clean and tidy and had a big bathroom, our room had a bathroom on a lower level so had to go down a few stairs. Unsure if other rooms had more accessable bathrooms but worth asking if your not very mobile.
Lovely breakfast but asked for it for 8am and got there at 8 but a bit slow on the service and received breakfast at 8:50.
