"This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. Once there the hotel was great, staff from friendly and pleasant. If one is going to stay here make sure to rent a 4x4...

"The staff were very friendly and accommodated an earlier breakfast for us. Unfortunately the beds were not super comfortable and we were woken up by sounds throughout the night. We thought it was in a secluded location and not a major thoroughfare. The room was a nice size for a family of 4."

"We stayed at Muntele Rece for two nights an we fully enjoyed our stay. The location is great, slightly away from Bran town centre yet within walking distance of Bran Castle, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and the views are breathtaking. On top of that our host Andreea was very friendly and helpful showing a great level of hospitality. We hope to return soon!"

"The place is nice overall with excellent carpet in room. To expensive for what you receive, Romania 110 EU is expensive with nothing on amenities no breakfast etc. We arrived one person came over we paid and we never saw an other person again. Not even a bottle water in the room.. Not worth 110 EU per night"
