"Very welcoming when we arrived. Flowers put into our room I had delivered along with some treats from hotel for our anniversary. Our evening meal was the best we had for awhile. No faults throughout our whole weekend "

I was warmly greeted and all locations and timings were pointed out to me.My room was had a king-size bed, a two seater settee and a good quality writing desk. The room was immaculately clean and the walls were softened by coordinated artwork. There were large opening doors to a Juliet balcony, and this made the room very comfortable indeed.

"What a charming pub with rooms! The food was beautiful and the service was fantastic! Great value for money and generous breakfast included. I was shown to my room - which are really well thought out for things needed (i.e. full length mirror / iron and ironing board) and was pleasantly surprised to see some rooms had outdoor seating :) Would recommend maybe the bathroom windows are frosted over as mine overlooked the car park and ground floor but only had to pull the blind down. "Easy check in and check out. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was really good and breakfast the following morning was equally good. We had a superior room which, although small, was clean and had everything we needed. The only minor issues we had was working out how to turn on the bedside lamps and bizarrely how to turn on the tap in the bathroom!
