"I've never been in a hotel with so many flies! It was difficult to be in the common areas with flies buzzing everywhere. The common areas of the hotel were not well maintained and clean. Tree leaves and bird poop - it was bird migration season - everywhere. There was not the slightest effort to sweep and clean the floor, even if it was only in the morning!! The pool was also poorly maintained and full of leaves and dead flies."

"Amazing views at the lodge, and amazing activities. We went on the rhino tracking activity and it was incredible: we saw a rhino mom and her baby, and we actually followed them on foot for a little while. "The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem. The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster. Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent. We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate."

"A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Corné was very attentive, and we enjoyed talking to him about Namibia. Wildlife came close to our lodge. Meals were very tasty and wholesome. We opted for a barbecue on the hilltop at sundown. It was beautifully set up for our evening, and we had good food and conversation with Corné and Cindy. We felt very well looked after."

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "
