"I've never been in a hotel with so many flies! It was difficult to be in the common areas with flies buzzing everywhere. The common areas of the hotel were not well maintained and clean. Tree leaves and bird poop - it was bird migration season - everywhere. There was not the slightest effort to sweep and clean the floor, even if it was only in the morning!! The pool was also poorly maintained and full of leaves and dead flies."

The individual cottages rest high on a ridge overlooking their 30K acre farm, most of which is reserved for wild game which in include Giraffe, Wildebeast, Springbok, Eland, Oryx and more. "Our stay in twyfelfontain camp was very nice, the spot is amazing, calm. We were welcomed there and the staff even upgraded us to a tent. Contrary to what we read on the other comments the sheets and bed were clean and had the smell of fresh laundry. The only part that wasn't that clean was the toilets.
