"We loved our stay! My spouse and I were initially unsure about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The grounds were delightful, and while the room was small, the design made it feel just right—cozy and well thought-out. Breakfast was a highlight: the morning walk to it added charm, and the meal itself brought real joy. The location was excellent—peaceful yet well-connected. "The communications throughout have been fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I was I able to leave our car in their car park well before check in time. With it being Sunday I was unable to book a Taxi to our granddaughters christening. Staff very kindly offered and drove us the 12 miles to the church! Absolutely outstanding!!!! The whole experience was fantastic and I highly rercommend the Pig Shed Motel for beautiful rooms, very tranquil location and outstanding customer service!"

"Check in and check out were no problems. Followed the instructions that were sent to email on the day of registration. Location - the center is 10 minutes walk away, paid parking is 3 minutes away 20 pounds per day, free on Sunday. Communication - I used email, the answer was immediate. Of the minuses, do not forget to make a deposit (it is clear why)."

"Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area."

"Stummbled across The Swan on a ramdom drive in Ely. The staff are very welcoming, took us to our room which was clean, spacious and inviting, the room was over looking a canal, which made it feel tranquil when sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking tea, in the robes provided. The bed was comfy, decent size walk in shower room too. Had an ibiza themed night when we stayed, so decent music. Would stay again. "
