"Sehr schneller Check-In, sehr zäher Check-Ouz (lag aber an den Gästen vor mir, die scheinbar das Internet nicht zur Urlaubsplanung nutzen). Zimmer mit viel Platz, das Waschbecken im Bad war allerdings sehr klein (schwierig beim Rasieren). Ich konnte direkt vorm Hotel parken und zu Fuß konnte ich in 1-2 Minuten einen Supermarkt und mehrere Cafés erreichen. Achtung: Unter der Woche schließt vieles um 20 Uhr."

"This stay started off terribly after a 5 hour car ride and ferry crossing. There was no one at the property when we arrived to welcome us. (We may have been sent an email with instructions but I must have missed it.) We called the posted cell number and the call was dropped, then drove out to another property 1 km away and finally found someone to help us. The cabin had been left open and the key on the table! GRRR! The cabin was nicely set up. Somewhat comfortable but not like in the photo....

"Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). "John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!"

"We had the best time, so close to fishing and we caught heaps of marron and enjoyed our stay on the property. So many beautiful day trips out in glorious wildlife and countryside.
