"This was a clean, simple cabin which was very spacious for a family of four. There was a full kitchen that we could use. Breakfast, which was included with our stay, was delicious and varied from morning to morning. The cabin is also accessible to the town, even without a car. It's about a 20-30 minute walk. "I really wish I could give this hotel a good review, but it’s more of a caution. First, the good: The hotel is within 10mins walk to the main restaurant areas, we always felt safe, and the room was clean when we arrived.The pool area and grounds were picturesque and seemed to be well taken care of. "The property was in a good location. Being picked up at the airport upon arrival was great. Manager did not speak english and failed to mention that dishes for the kitchen were actually in our room. "This is NOT a 5-star resort. WiFi is only in the lobby and intermittent at best. Tiny ants in our room and flies on the food. One member of the staff told me rudely to go into town (a 30 minute walk) if I needed internet, that internet was not important to Rapa Nuians. Don’t advertise you have WIFI if it doesn’t work. Furniture is rudimentary and low, and the bed is a mattress on a tile platform. Drapery rods are copper plumbing tubing. It is an island - everything is shipped in and expensive....

"A 10 day trip to the island made all the more enjoyable by the hotel.... A little basic which suited... WiFi coverage like the rest of the island... Hit and miss but no real issue... Limited facilities and services and breakfast OK if a tad on the bland side..... That said the staff helpful and down to earth.... The Ritz it's not.... But 10 out of 10 for trying "
