"My wife and I stayed for one night, bed and breakfast on 29th May 2024. Our room was clean, comfortable and a pleasant temperature. We had excellent sea views. Our bed was ok but a bit on the small side. Breakfast offered a reasonable selection and was perfectly adequate.As we came and went we were aware of cooking smells from the kitchen. The hotel is in a brilliant location right in the centre of the town. I would be happy to stay in the hotel again if we return to this part of the world."

"Great value, welcoming staff - very quiet despite being at a Service Station. Snack bar and drinks can be purchased. Room clean and big enough. Would ask for a room away from office door and cleaners cupboard - doors noisy in the morning. Liked the proper mugs and big tele for room size. Rooms face the Service Station ….. or the beautiful Scottish countryside. "

"The hotel is located just out the Railway Station Door. We were able to drop our bags, as we arrived earlier in the day. Convenient to see the Cathedral & Castle. Staff was very helpful, I take a medicine that must be refrigerated and they stored it for me. The real problem is the There is no A/C. Our room had the full afternoon sun and was over 80 degrees. "Normal. Pouco ruido ambiente. Quarto limpo mas com um suporte de toalhas partido, cama pequena e espaço reduzido, A Casa de banho era boa e limpa. O Hotel tem ar de velho por dentro, e deviam retirar as alcatifas. No corridor de acesso ao meu quarto a alcatifa cheirava bastante mal. Pontos positivos é a curta distância à Estação, restaurantes perto e atendimento cortês."

"It's a charming rather quirky hotel with dark panelling and tartan carpets in places. It is very comfortable though the bed was hard and slanted to the right. Breakfast is ok but could be larger portions. It is 5 minutes walk from a fantastic beach and it is also dog-friendly. I would book again."

"Lovely room comfortable bed and really quiet no noise at night so great sleep. Dinner was lovely , surroundings beautiful with live music played on tbe piano. Great selection of food on menu which tasted fabulous. The bar is a lovely vibrant place with great selection of drinks. Finally the breakfast was amazing and served by a lovely lady who made sure we didn’t want for anything. Thankyou for a fabulous stay 😊"
